I come from a long line of artists. My father and brother are both artists. My father would sit us down as youngsters and teach us how to color properly, shade, highlight, etc. I have always enjoyed working with my hands and majored in art through school. I taught ballet, tap, jazz and ballroom dancing for most of my adult life.
After my daughter was born I picked up the paint brush and started painting again. First a mural then a piece of furniture and then my neighbors house. I went back to school to learn faux finishing and study trompe l’oeil, which means to fool the eye. You will see some of that work in my portfolio. I went to my first face painting convention in Orlando Florida last year and have since become an award winning face painter. I use Snazaroo Face Paints and you can also see some of my face painting photos on their website. Have fun and enjoy viewing my work!
